Beans

Beans. There are many different types of beans & in many different varieties: French bean/Green bean/Black bean/Baked bean/Soya bean etc.

The soya bean is the main bean in my daily diet. I found out last year that normal dairy milk was bad for me. I had been drinking it for years but when I began to get pains & cramps in my stomach which lasted a couple of months I knew something was wrong & went to see my doctor.

After keeping a food diary a food/lifestyle diary I had two answers 1. I had developed IBS 2. Milk had become my enemy. I only had milk in cups of tea & on cereal but it was really affecting me. So I changed my habits & turned to Soya Milk.

At first I was dubious of it as it does taste completely different to normal milk & it looks like cream but for me it’s been a godsend as I can now have my cups of tea & my cereal without any major side effects with my condition.

I’ve got used to having the Soya bean within my diet & I am finding it’s a much healthier alternative that appears to contain a fuller range of quality ingredients. So when I sit down I can now relax with a good decent cuppa & know it won’t harm me as I sip it quietly.

  1. I'm working my way up from the bottom of the list so, my name is James Tate. Nice to meet you. My wife and I just found out we live in one of the five most obease regions of the US. How depressing. So any product that promotes healthy living is good. Of course, a little Ice-Cream never hurt anyone--unless you're intollerant. Sorry. But that's what we have to do; learn to live life to the fullest within the confines of our body. Good luck this month.

  2. My mother has a lot of problems with milk, I wonder if this would help. She loves cereal, but milk--even lactose free--puts her stomach in knots. Thanks! I'll have to let her know to give this a try.
